Cinema Day is Back on May 10th

Film lovers, listen up! Cinema Day returns this year on May 10, the highly anticipated event when all commercial cinemas across the vibrant city of Hong Kong will offer movie tickets at the remarkably low price of just $30. Organised by the esteemed Hong Kong Theatres Association, this beloved annual event is thoughtfully designed not only to promote and celebrate the rich local film culture but also to make the experience of going to the cinema more accessible, enjoyable, and memorable for everyone in our community. Join fellow cinephiles as we come together to appreciate the magic of film on this special day!

A total of 52 cinemas across the vibrant territory of Hong Kong are enthusiastically participating in this exciting event, with 14 convenient locations situated on Hong Kong Island, 19 located in the bustling area of Kowloon, and 20 found throughout the beautiful New Territories. The attractive $30 deal is designed to appeal to moviegoers for all regular screenings throughout the day on May 10, although special screenings and private bookings are notably not included in this limited-time promotion. It is important to note that senior citizen tickets, which are already priced below the remarkable $30 rate, will still be made available for purchase; however, all other concessions will remain on hold for that day in favor of highlighting the exceptional $30 deal.
